How's your weather? We had about 4" of snow today here in big D (DFW) and Plano, TX. I really enjoyed watching the snowflakes as they got bigger and more frequent. Tried to catch the big ones and it was so much fun. Had not had this in a loonnngg time. Too cold to make snowman though. My Dad is finally home now and I thank God for that. I was blessed to have been able to go and be a part of AP's medical mission of love, hope and giving to the needy children of Manila and with AP leading this wonderful cause I couldn't help but be thankful to have met him again on this very special and rewarding journey in my adult life. You should have seen the joy, happiness, contentment and overflowing signs of gratitude on the young, eager, excited and skinny faces of these impoverished children of Manila. That alone brought you to be teary eyed and yet overjoyed to have been a participant on this beautiful project of none other than AP who was once upon a time a homeless needy child roaming around the city of Manila. I could go on and on and be super emotional but that's the reality of life and I was thankful to the Almighty that I was on the giving end of the line instead. Another good thing that came out of my trip to Manila was (I'm sure by now everyone had already read ) meeting Ann Bouffard, who even for a brief moment instantly became my new found sister and best J friend in person . Finally!!!!What a sweet and beautiful girl she is , the very reason everyone loves her on and off line. Maybe someday you'll get your chance to meet up with her, Deb. Take care and God bless. Will be leaving for Manila next Wed to help with AP's med mission. Looking forward to this since Nov 09. Will update you later.
Also I joined the Journey Junkies but I haven't really navigated around it. Maybe I will when I get back from the Phil. Take care and stay warm if you're having the arctic spell too esp like our dear Kathi. huggsss to you.
