Absolutely Rocked!! Night Ranger was a good choice for the opening act. They got the crowd warmed up really good. Then, when Journey hit the stage, we had an action packed, super quality concert from start to finish. Where I sat, the crowd stood for the whole thing, interacting with the band. I must say, being close in age to Arnel, I simply don't know how he does it! His energy, drive, and endurance are impressive. Probably my only complaint is that even though they sang just about every song worth repeating that they ever recorded, the group did not sing last year's new ballad, After All These Years. I think it is just beautiful. However, we had over 2 1/4 hours of Journey, with the same high quality show all the way through. I was worn out, and they were still rocking! I'll sure be ready to hear them again next year.

Great Show

Wow, what a great show. Night Ranger played a good set of their hits and their new lead guitarist smoked. I forgot how good those guys were.

But Journey blew everyone away. I saw them about 2 years ago here when they opened for Def Leppard, and while Jeff Scott Soto had a strong voice, he was no match for Arnel. A few people I talked to came to the show just to see if he was "for real" - he is!

Arnel has an amazing voice and wasn't afraid to show it off to us all. He hit some amazing supersonic high notes during "Separate Ways" and "Stone In Love". And he looked like he was having a lot of fun onstage, dancing, jumping off the drum riser and standing on the stage monitors. He really commanded everyone's attention.

There was a little scary moment when Arnel was trying to high-five someone in the first row and fell over the barrier and into the audience! But he was OK and finished the song with no problems. I was surprised that they played some obscure LP cuts like "Keep on Runnin'" and "Escape" along with the new songs and the big hits.

All in all it was a awesome concert. So many great songs, a lot of singing along, and a tight and professional performance. I just wish more people would have came out and sold out the arena, they really missed out on a great show!

Simply the best......

It was clear humid night and I did'nt know what to expect.... Journey did an outstanding performance and made those people dance, sing and just have a goodtime and forget all the worries for a night,(at least)feeling like twenty something again. The energy vibes is totally contagious, and Arnel's voice is awesome. Journey is definitely the band of yesterday, today and tomorrow. Looking forward for many more concerts to come....

The concert last night was AWESOME, AMAZING, EXCELLENT, STUNNING, EARTH MOVING......... what did I leave out????.... Took my 11 year old daughter and older brother and we had a blast. Great seats up in the stands but could see and hear great. Thanks to the guys behind us for having such a party and enjoying it with us... the beer will wash out of my hair , but hard to explain that to the husband...........haha. What a party and rockin show it was!!!!
Journey , you guys will never know what you mean to me personally and to my daughter. Arnel made it feel like he was signing directly to EACH AND EVERY PERSON THERE! Even got down in the front row crowd to sing directly to someone, couldn't see who but WOW what a lucky person!!
Just cant' say enough great things about the band and Arnel is just like the Energizer bunny on fast forward or something, AMAZING ENERGY!!!
5 hour drive one , way WELL worth it!!

Last nights show in Shreveport,La was awesome. I will definitely go hear them again if giving the chance. I am even a bigger fan now than I was before I saw them in concert.

Wow, what an amazing concert last night! 12,000-13,000 people attended, and not a disappointed person in the arena. The youtube videos and what you see on the computer don't even come close to what we witnessed last evening. These guys are so much better live and you have to go see it to believe it. Truly Outstanding "MUST SEE" Performance!
