July 12, 2014 - LOOPFEST 2014 FEATURING JOURNEY AND STEVE MILLER BAND, WITH TOWER OF POWER, POSTPONED DUE TO WEATHER
Due to the extreme rain and storm water received earlier today at First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre in Tinley Park, as well as the forecasted weather for later this evening, the concert event with Journey and Steve Miller Band scheduled for tonight has been postponed.

The rain received this morning has caused flooding both in the parking lots of the venue, which completely prevents us from parking the volume of cars expected, as well as to a number of surrounding feeder streets, creating extreme difficulty in getting to the venue. The National Weather Service has recently extended a flash flood watch until 1:00 pm Sunday, with a forecasted potential of one inch of rainfall per hour to start at approximately 7:00 pm. After consulting with the local police department, and keeping the safety of all visitors and staff in mind, the difficult decision to postpone the event has been made.

Tickets for tonight's event will be honored for the rescheduled date, to be announced as soon as possible. Fans who want a refund may get that from the point of purchase as of Monday at 10:00 am CDT.
