How I came to know about the group Journey! Arnel's comment to me.

WOW!!! I feel insignificant in this sight.
Arnel you have become a big star. You won my heart, last year when you were homesick for your children and family. After seeing the interview with Neal you broke my heart.
In 1984 my little brother, who was born in 1967, committed suicide. I raised him from a baby, but I moved from Pennsylvania to Los Angeles when he was 13 years old. My mother had abandoned him and he remained with my father in Pennsylvania. He was a state championship wrestler. Somehow, a Doctor from New York City scouted him out and was training him to qualify for the 1984 summer Olympics. He put my brother on (anabolic steroids) back them we didn't know the horrible effect this would have on the body. On Thanksgiving Day, he became enraged and put a 30/06 rifle to his head.
When I flew into Pennsylvania for his funeral I was very, very, sad. I would sit in his bedroom and hold his belongings trying to absorb him. His best friend came into the bedroom and he told me my brother's favorite group was JOURNEY. I had never heard of them. He also told me his favorite song was LIGHTS. He had played the song for me. For 24 years, I could not listen to any JOURNEY songs without crying. I had a degree in music therapy and majored in playing the pipe organ. I was a church organist at the time. It seemed when my brother died something inside me died. I never played the pipe organ again. I think, I was punishing myself for not being there for him at the time of his death. I had abandoned him like our mother.
After your interview, once again, I somehow became captivated with you. Wanting to follow your success enabled me to appreciate and listen to the gift my brother gave to me JOURNEY

one mistake i need to correct,i mean WE ARE NOT MEANT TO BE PERFECT..

dont feel so insignificant my friend..i read every now and then and yours is one of the best stories i have ever read..thanks for sharing them to me...pls dont be so hard on yourself..we all make mistakes one way or another..we're not perfect and we're meant to be perfect,all of us here on earth..thats the beauty of it..GOD doesnt wants us to feel contented,coz otherwise,we will never try seeking for HIs guidance every time we are at our weakest point in life...pls move on and try paying IT forward whatever it is that you have missed to do before youre precious BROTHER passed away....

Tammy I appreciate you sharing your Journey story with us fans. I am sorry about your brother. God has His own will for each and everyone of us and one of our goals in life is to find it.
