JRNY/Walmart experience...

So the wife and I are in Walmart today (5/25/09)....buying a new flat screen tv. I happen 2 have on my JOURNEY 2003 tour shirt. The lady helping us out asks "what do u think of the new JRNY"? I reply with "LOVE it...might even be my favorite yet". She starts gushing, saying "OMG...ME TOO!! I got it for my husband and he just won't stop playing it"!!! This lady continues to rant on with the usual "I heard they found the new singer online", etc.

Of course, the wife and I are chiming in on our love for Arnel as well. By this point, the lady is nearly in TEARS!! She just spoke of all the EMOTION in his voice and the songs....the I swear the lady was having a religious experience (ha-ha).

Thanks for sharing. Despite of some bad rap, Walmart has some really cool peeps. When I bought Evolution and Escape a couple of weeks ago, the cashier let out a long "sweeeeet...Journey's my fave of all time."

Gotta love them...Journey fans.
